Nicole Fundora

Nicole is an Associate in the Firm's Litigation Group, where her practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and commercial litigation.

Nicole is a patent attorney with a background in computer engineering.  Her expertise in litigation includes drafting motions and legal briefs, drafting pleadings, and managing all aspects of trial preparation and pretrial discovery, including resolution of discovery disputes.  She has also served as second chair in federal district court hearings. Nicole also has extensive experience with intellectual property transactions including drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the USPTO in the areas of software, computer hardware, communications systems, furniture designs, mechanical devices, concrete admixtures, and the production of graphene from biofuels.  Nicole’s intellectual property prosecution experience also extends to trademark-related matters such as trademark clearance searches, preparation of trademark applications, responding to Office Actions, and handling proceedings before the USPTO’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Prior to joining Thoits Law, Nicole began her career as an associate at The Brickell IP Group, PLLC in Miami, Florida. Before becoming an attorney, Nicole was involved in nearly all aspects of legal work. She was a receptionist, legal secretary and paralegal.
