With over twenty years of experience as an employment law attorney, Maureen brings significant, sophisticated and, most importantly, “hands-on” experience providing both U.S. domestic and international advice and counsel to all levels of management involving a full range of labor and employment matters. These matters have included employment issues related to the current Covid-19 crisis, redundancies, international mobility, reorganizations, disciplinary measures, terminations, recruiting, restrictive covenants and trade secrets, disability and reasonable accommodations, FMLA, ADA and other leaves of absence, FSLA, Title VII, defamation, and data privacy.
Prior to joining Thoits Law, Maureen was of counsel in the San Francisco/Palo Alto office of one of the largest international law firms in the world and has worked as employment counsel with other national and international firms, as well as in-house for Fortune 50, hi-tech and financial services companies in the Bay Area and New York City.
