Deanne Cevasco is an Of Counsel attorney in the firm’s Litigation Group, where her practice encompasses all aspects of intellectual property litigation and licensing.
Deanne’s experience includes trademark, patent, copyright, and trade secret litigation. Her practice encompasses all aspects of client counseling and advising on litigation, arbitration, licensing and licensing negotiations. Deanne has represented and advised clients in a variety of industries including pharmaceutical, industrial chemical, fintech, biotechnology, mobile communications, software, computer networking, data storage, digital imaging, semiconductor, and computer internet technology.Prior to joining Thoits Law, Deanne began her career in the Palo Alto office of Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett LLP as a complex commercial litigator, and later focused on intellectual property matters after joining Ropes & Gray LLP in New York City.
Deanne earned her J.D. from Santa Clara School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and graduated cum laude. She has a Master’s degree in molecular biology from Fordham University, and a B.S. in biology from Bucknell University.
Deanne is admitted to practice in California and New York.
