Michael Hsueh joined the firm as a litigation associate. His prior firms include Weidmann & Yun, Edward Yun, & Associates, the Law Offices of Jennifer Schwartz/Ouuten & Golden, as well as the Law Office of Michael Hsueh. His areas of expertise include intellectual property, commercial litigation, and matters concerning wrongful termination. Michael attended the University of San Diego before continuing to Cornell. Michael is also fluent in Mandarin, and volunteers as a mock trial coach for several bay area high schools.

Melinda Barker joined the firm as a shareholder in 2017 and is a Certified Legal Specialist in the State of California for Trusts, Probate Law, and Estate Planning. Before joining our firm, Melinda was a partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP and was the Managing Partner of Pillsbury’s Silicon Valley office. Melinda has extensive experience with the creation, funding and administration of a variety of estate planning structures and vehicles, including Revocable Trusts, Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts, Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts, long term multi-generational dynasty trusts and charitable trusts and entities. Melinda obtained her J.D. at Santa Clara University School of Law and then obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M., with honors) in Taxation at Golden Gate University School of Law. Melinda Barker has been a guest speaker at several conferences, including the Stanford Planning Giving Conference and the Kasner Estate Planning Symposium at the Santa Clara University School of Law. Melinda is on the board of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (“STEP”) and serves of the planning committee for the Kasner Estate Planning Symposium at the Santa Clara University School of Law.
