Secured Financing
Our Real Estate Group has significant experience
working with owners, purchasers, landlords, tenants, banks,
private lenders, and institutional investors on real estate
financing transactions. The transactions may involve traditional
secured lending or hybrid construction, bridge, mezzanine
or permanent loans. The parties may face questions related
to loan participations, guaranties, lender liability, commercial
mortgage backed securities (CMBS), priorities, title insurance,
leasehold mortgages, synthetic leases, loan defaults and workouts.
Our role is to advise our client on the structure and tax
implications and to work with everyone involved to accomplish
a successful financing. If necessary, we are prepared to represent
our client in any mediation, arbitration or litigation relating
to the transaction.
