Richard is a shareholder in
the firm’s Trusts
and Estates Group and focuses his practice on estate and trust
planning, implementation, administration, and litigation,
as well as estate and gift tax counseling. He is certified as a specialist
in his field by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.
He joined the firm in 1991 after graduating with honors from the University
of San Diego School of Law, after obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in
Philosophy from the University of California at San Diego. Richard
is actively involved in the community, serving as a member of the
Peninsula Advisory Council, and on the boards of the San
Jose Chamber Music Society and the City
Lights Theater Company.
